This Privacy Policy describes how information is handled in the Block Tempest mobile game. Block Tempest is published by Purplesky Infotech LLP.

1. Introduction

Block Tempest is a mobile puzzle game published by Purplesky Infotech LLP (“Purplesky Infotech”, “we”, “us”, “our”). This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you play Block Tempest.

This policy applies to the Block Tempest mobile game only. Although this page is hosted on the Purplesky Infotech website, it does not describe how the website itself, or any other Purplesky Infotech product or service, handles information.

Block Tempest does not require you to create an account, sign in, or provide your name, email address or phone number in order to play.

2. Information We Collect

Purplesky Infotech does not ask you for personal information inside Block Tempest, and the game does not operate player accounts, profiles, or a player database on our servers.

Block Tempest does not ask you to provide:

  • Your name or username tied to a registered account
  • Your email address or phone number
  • Your postal address
  • Your contacts, photos, or media library
  • Precise location data
  • Payment or billing details — the game contains no in-app purchases and no payment system
  • Messages or user-generated content — the game has no multiplayer mode, no chat, and no way to submit content to other players

Block Tempest does, however, include advertising delivered by Google AdMob. When ads are requested and shown, Google’s advertising services may process certain information about your device and your interaction with those ads. Because advertising is part of the game, we do not claim that the game processes no data at all. Sections 4 to 6 describe this in detail.

3. Information Stored Locally on Your Device

Block Tempest saves gameplay data locally on your device so that the game works as expected between sessions. This typically includes game progress, level state, scores, game settings, and preferences.

This data is stored on your own device. It is not transmitted to Purplesky Infotech servers, and we cannot read it.

Uninstalling Block Tempest, or clearing the app’s data and storage through your device settings, removes this locally stored data from your device. If your device or operating system provides its own backup features, copies of app data may be retained within those backups. Those backups are controlled by your device, your operating system, and your backup provider — not by Purplesky Infotech.

4. Advertising

Block Tempest is supported by advertising. The game shows two types of ads:

  • Interstitial ads — full-screen ads that may appear at natural breaks in play.
  • Rewarded ads — optional ads that you choose to watch in exchange for an in-game reward.

Rewarded ads are optional. You are never required to watch a rewarded ad, and the core game can be played without doing so. Ads are not required to play the core game.

Block Tempest does not currently include in-app purchases or any payment system, so there is currently no paid option to remove advertising.

5. Google AdMob

Advertising in Block Tempest is delivered by Google AdMob, an advertising service provided by Google.

In order to request, deliver, cap and measure advertisements, Google’s advertising services may process information such as:

  • IP address
  • Device information, such as device model, operating system version and similar technical characteristics
  • Advertising identifiers, where applicable and where permitted by your device settings
  • Ad interaction information, such as ad requests, impressions, clicks, and completion of rewarded ads
  • Diagnostic and performance information relating to the delivery of advertisements
  • Other information required to serve, limit, and measure advertisements, including detection of invalid activity

Purplesky Infotech does not itself collect the items listed above, and we do not receive information from Google that identifies you as an individual player. Google acts as an independent advertising provider and processes information under its own policies and terms.

You can read more about how Google handles information in the following official Google documentation:

6. Google User Messaging Platform

Where applicable, Block Tempest uses Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP) to present privacy and consent messaging relating to advertising.

Whether such a message is shown, what it asks, and which options it presents depends on the requirements that apply in your region and on Google’s configuration of that messaging. A consent message is not necessarily presented to every player in every region.

Where Google’s messaging makes it available, the game may offer an option — commonly labelled “Ad Privacy Choices” or similar — that lets you review or change your advertising choices after first launch. The availability and wording of this option are determined by Google’s messaging configuration and by the requirements that apply to you.

This section describes the tools the game uses. It does not assert that any particular legal framework applies to you, and it is not a claim of certification under any specific regulation.

7. How Information Is Used

Data stored locally by the game

Locally stored gameplay data is used only on your device, to save your progress, restore your game state when you return, and apply your settings. It is not used for advertising, profiling or analytics.

Information processed by Google’s advertising services

Information processed in connection with advertising is used by Google to select, deliver, frequency-cap and measure advertisements, to detect invalid activity, and for the other purposes described in Google’s own policies.

Purplesky Infotech does not build profiles about individual players, and does not combine advertising information with any other information about you.

8. Information Sharing

Purplesky Infotech does not sell your personal information. Block Tempest does not ask you for personal information, so there is no player-provided personal information for us to share.

This does not mean that no third party is involved. By including Google AdMob, Block Tempest causes the information described in section 5 to be processed by Google as an independent third-party advertising provider. That processing is governed by Google’s own policies rather than by this policy.

Gameplay data saved locally on your device is not shared with third parties by the game, because it remains on your device.

Because we do not operate servers that store player data, we normally hold no player information. If we receive a lawful request from a competent authority, we can only provide information that we actually hold.

9. Offline Gameplay

Block Tempest supports offline play. The core game can be played without an internet connection.

While your device is offline, advertisements cannot be requested or displayed, so no advertising-related information is sent during that time. Your progress continues to be saved locally on your device.

If an ad does not appear because there is no internet connection, that is expected behaviour and not a fault in the game.

10. Children’s Privacy

Block Tempest is a general-audience puzzle game. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

The game does not ask any player for personal information, does not include chat, multiplayer or user-generated content, and does not include in-app purchases.

If you are a parent or guardian and you believe a child has provided personal information through the game, please contact us using the details in section 16. Because the game does not collect personal information or operate accounts, we generally hold no such information — but we will respond to your enquiry.

This policy does not assert certification or compliance under any specific children’s privacy programme. The age rating shown for Block Tempest is set through the App Store and Google Play and is governed by the rules of those platforms.

11. Data Retention

Gameplay data stored locally on your device is retained on that device until you remove it, by uninstalling Block Tempest or clearing the app’s data through your device settings. We do not control how long device-level or operating-system backups retain copies of app data.

Purplesky Infotech does not operate servers that store player data for Block Tempest, so there is no server-side retention period on our side for us to state.

The retention of information processed by Google’s advertising services is determined by Google and is described in Google’s own policies. We do not set, control, or have visibility of those retention periods.

12. Security

Because Block Tempest does not collect personal information, does not use accounts, and does not transmit gameplay data to our servers, the data the game creates remains protected by your own device and its operating system.

Information exchanged in connection with advertising is transmitted between your device and Google’s advertising services using Google’s own infrastructure and security measures.

No method of transmission over the internet, and no method of electronic storage, can be guaranteed to be completely secure. We do not claim that the game, your device, or any third-party service is secure against every possible risk.

13. Your Privacy Choices

You have the following choices in relation to Block Tempest:

  • Advertising identifier controls. Your device settings allow you to reset your advertising identifier, or to limit or opt out of personalised advertising. These controls are provided by your operating system; the exact names and locations of the settings vary by device and OS version.
  • Consent and privacy messaging. Where Google’s User Messaging Platform messaging is presented in your region, you can use it to make or revisit your advertising choices, as described in section 6.
  • Play offline. Playing with your device offline means no ad requests are made while you play.
  • Remove locally stored data. Uninstalling the game, or clearing its data through your device settings, removes the gameplay data saved on your device.

Block Tempest does not currently present Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt, because App Tracking Transparency is not implemented in the current version of the game.

14. Third-Party Services

Block Tempest currently integrates the following third-party services:

  • Google AdMob — advertising (interstitial and rewarded ads)
  • Google User Messaging Platform — privacy and consent messaging, where applicable

The current version of Block Tempest does not integrate Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, Sentry, Mixpanel, PostHog, AppsFlyer, Adjust, social login providers, cloud save or account services, or any payment/in-app-purchase system.

If we add a third-party service in future that changes how information is handled, we will update this policy accordingly.

15. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time — for example, if the game’s features change or if we add or remove a third-party service.

Updates will be published on this page, and the “Last Updated” date at the top of the page will be revised. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
